    Book Summary:

    My Review:

    Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

    Normally, I don’t read a lot of books containing LGBTQ romances, but truthfully, I couldn’t tell that this one was on that list until the very end. Romance wasn’t even a secondary plot point until like the last 3rd of the book, if that. It caught me off guard, but not in a bad way. I really enjoy this one. I hope to read more from this author. I do truly hope she continues this storyline. I also really want a novel or novella from the sister’s point of view. I really want to know what happens with her. I guess that’s mainly because I resonate with her more than Tamsin.

  • Favorite Brands Writing Prompt

    What are your favorite brands and why?

    Well, Truth be told, I misread this writing prompt. I though it said bands not brands. I got half way through writing this post when I realized that it said brands not bands. So, Now I need to write a post on brands not bands. LOL.

    Alright, Brands. Well, I’m going to break this down into a few different categories.

    • The First is going to be drinks.
    • The Second is going to be Snacks.

    I’m going to chose two brands and I’m going to try and explain why I like them.

    Okay, so, drinks. So the brand I’m going to start with is going to be Monster. I don’t really have a specific reason why Monster is one of my favorite brands. I just like the flavors they have out. Yes, I know that there are studies out there that state energy drinks are bad for you. I’ve been working third shift for most of my life. Monster helps me get through my work and part of my day. Now I feel the need to pick a few flavors that I love. I’m going to pick five Monster flavors. They are going to be from my least favorite to my all time favorite.

    • Rehab Monster Strawberry Lemonade
    • Juice Monster Mango Loco
    • Monster Zero-Sugar Ultra Blue Hawaiian
    • Monster Zero-Sugar Ultra Strawberry Dreams
    • Monster Energy Reserve Orange Dreamsicle

    Drink Part Two. So, the Second drink brand that I’m going to pick is Sunny D. I like Sunny D because it helps me get some vitamin C. It contributes to the overall part of my daily dose. Granted I manly drink the Orange Strawberry flavor from them. I’ve been drink this flavor for the last three years. I wanna say it came out in late 2022. I remember buying it from my second job. Though I can’t find an actual date when it was launched. The flavor to my tastes like a fruit roll-up. I got my partner to try it and now they like it as well.

    Okay, time for Snacks. Just like with drinks I’m going to pick two brands. So, the first brand is going to be Pepperidge Farm’s goldfish. I’ve been eating them for as long as I can remember. I’ve probably been eating them for my whole like since they came out in 1958. Here of late I’ve been eat them with tomato soup. I put them in my soup to add the flavor of cheese. I do this with my tomato soup because I haven’t had the ingredients on hand to make grilled cheese.

    Okay, for the second snack brand that I like is Werther’s Original. I’ve always been more a caramel girl than a chocolate girl. I’ve never really wanted chocolate, I always wanted caramel. Werther’s Original’s has a few different types of caramel. So, I don’t have to stick to one type of caramel. I don’t have a real reason why they are one of my favorite snack brands.

    These are the only ones that I can think of at this time. I would do clothing but I only buy what’s on sale, so I’m not big on brands for clothing. I’ve pick two categories that I know of brands that I love.

    Writing Prompt: Where would you go on a shopping spree?

    As I am answering this writing prompt I am going to assume that they are talking about a physical store. If they are referring to any store, whether it is a physical or online store, the answer would be the same. Though it would change why I would choose Barns and Noble.

    If I was ever awarded a shopping spree to the store of my choice, I would have a hard time picking a store. It would be difficult to choose just one. In my apartment, I don’t have a lot of space to put things.

    If I had to choose a store I would pick Barns and Noble. I love reading and writing. I know that I need to get back into writing bog posts, (I have plans for up coming posts). The reason I would chose this store it because I can restart my book collection. I lost my book collection when I moved from my ex’s family home to my own apartment. I lost it for two reasons. One being that I didn’t have a space for it in my new apartment. Two being I was moving over 8 hours away. Traveling with all of them was difficult because I wasn’t the one packing everything up.

    Prompt: What was your favorite subject in school?

    Truthfully, school wasn’t something I liked. I got picked on because of a few medical conditions that I have. My glasses where one of their favorites to comment on followed closely behind by my weight. I didn’t like going to school. But, when I did go, I enjoyed home economics (3rd class). I also enjoyed the creative writing part of English. I couldn’t and still can’t spell very well. Dyslexia is a bitch. The reason I loved home economics isn’t because it was an easy class there was 4 different classes. The first one was about normal home economics. I don’t really remember what home economics 2nd class was about. The third class was about writing. Creative writing, business writing. It was about all types of writing. Even though I have dyslexia, I enjoy writing. I’ve always wanted to publish a book. I will publish a book.

    I love creative writing, even though it doesn’t come easily because of the spelling issues. I’ve been working on for as long as I can remember. I’m hoping to have a book published in about two years. Well, Written and started the publishing process in two years. I know that it seems unrealistic but it is the goal that I am setting for myself. I’m already 1/3rd done writing the book. I just need to sit down and finish writing it.
